The competition

The grand final took place at Malmö Arena on May 11th. Nemo secured 365 points from the jury groups and 226 points from public voting. Croatia placed second with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”, followed by Ukraine in third place.

The winning performance

Nemo delivered a dynamic performance on a white circular prop, wearing a pink and white fur suit designed by Malmö-based Linnea Samia Khalil. The staging, choreographed by Fredrik Rydman, featured the artist jumping on and off the rotating platform.

The song

“The Code” uniquely blends opera, rap, and drum and bass. The composition draws inspiration from classical opera, including references to Mozart’s The Magic Flute. The song expresses Nemo’s journey of accepting their non-binary identity.
